Is anyone else's Switch... bent?

I got my Switch at launch and noticed a few days later after while looking at the centre tablet that it was slightly bent. I thought it was just my Switch but turns out at least two other people are experiencing this issue as well.

This is an image (not my photo btw) of how mine sort of looks:

My photos (still need to take extra)

As you can see, it's slightly bent. I do plan on returning it back to Nintendo but maybe at a later time to see if they implement save transferring first (since I put 90+ hours into Zelda already and don't want to lose that progress). And yes, I do have a case for the console from the very beginning but still noticed the problem.

Anyone else have a bent Switch?

Edit 2:
Looks like the issue was on the front page of /r/gaming (and I believe Reddit if that's still a default subreddit), and seems to be one of the main discussions in the Switch OT:

Reddit: The Nintendo Switch Is Starting To Warp While Only Being In Dock Mode
NeoGAF: Switch OT where the discussions starts

Looks like I'm not going crazy and really is bending and others are experiencing the same thing. I still didn't have much time to check at home again though but my photos are on the front page (I'll edit the OP with the photos I took)

Mine looks like that. The left JoyCon also wiggles while attached as well.

I also had the wiggle, but I swapped the joycon out with a new one and it's solid as a rock now. Both sides have a little give but nothing terrible.

My console doesn't look bent like that though.

I wanted to dominate the living room. Then I took an ESRAM in the knee.
I think it's just visual trickery. Mine kinda looks like it might be slightly thicker in the middle, contributing to the idea that it's "bent."

Likely. I would have verified my suspicion with a ruler or something like that before making a thread...

Oh thank god this is about Switches.

Thanks to you I'm reading every single post in here in an entirely different light.

You might just have made this the funniest thread in a while for me.

I thought it was just my *censored* but turns out at least two other people are experiencing this issue as well.

Anyone else have a bent *censored*?

Mine uhh...kinda looks bent? Are we sure this isn't deliberate though?

^ This one is my favorite

My left *censored* as well!! The right is rock solid. I have the gray btw. I thought about exchanging but now im curious if others does this.

I'm very easily amused.

Don't know if it's visual effect or what, but putting mine on the table and pressing one of the corners makes it to wiggle. This has made me paranoid.

I have the Gray as well.

The left JoyCon doesn't feel like it's going to come off, but it's definitely got more looseness to it than does the right JoyCon.

*censored* jokes are funny no matter what age you are.

no,i draw it using ms paint,it's straight line,i put the end of the line above the screen.
anyway, that's wont do anything,a roller will do the job.

It's a straight line which it higher on the left side. But anyway, that switch is bent - I agree.

Same. Gray. Left Joy-Con slightly loose. Right Joy-Con is firmly in place.

Same here, also gray unit

Huh. Mine's also a gray. Really hoping it's just the left joycon in this batch that's the issue. The new set I have is solid but I'm a little concerned it'll develop again.

My left joycon wiggles and the right side of my screen is raised.
*edit: I've never taken this thing out of my house or carried it any where other than the couch when the GF is watching tv

If it truly is bent, have you by any chance been using it primarily in handheld mode? I find myself many times taking my right hand off the console during loading screens to grab a drink, check my phone, etc. while still holding the Switch horizontal by just the left Joycon. I can actively feel the pressure being put on the left Joycon and left ~25% of the tablet when I do that, and have to consciously either rest the right Joycon on something or put the whole console down because I'm paranoid about messing up the left Joycon-to-tablet connection.

How long until Switches start exploding? I feel like we've covered just about every other phone problem meme at this point.

This is a good thought but the screen in the OP is concave not convex as it would be in that scenario.

phew! I'm going to ride out all this stuff and cash in on the last minute. I say that because I haven't had joycon issues but getting some free foam courtesy of Nintendo is fine by me.

Also I don't have this bending issue but I have my own issue. A few days after getting the Switch I went to a NXT wrestling show in the blistering cold. I left the Switch in the loose little pouch on the back of my cousins driver seat. When I booted it up after the show a faint but noticeable thumb print sized orange spot was in the center of my screen. It's faint and really only noticeable when the screen is totally black but its there and bothers me. lol

Mine was bent pretty badly. but I flexed it back without any issues after that. My right joycon is pretty wobbly since the start, but not really an annoyance.
